The Centre for the Study of Emotion and Law is a new research centre, building on published research looking at the interface of psychological knowledge and legal practice.   See Our Publications for some of our studies and writing.

Our intention is to undertake, supervise, disseminate and promote high quality, methodologically rigorous, applied research.  Our aim is that legal processes, in particular the asylum process, be better informed by empirical knowledge.
